Announcing the African Birding Photo Safari in TanzaniaMarch 9th - March 20th, 2016
Tanzania boasts of having 1,100 species of birds with 39 endemics, while the US, which is 10 times larger than Tanzania, has approximately 915 species of birds with only 11 endemics (continental US). Let me see, yep – bird watching in Tanzania will be more fun.
Of note for Birdwatchers – There are 500 species of birds in Tarangire National Park and the most breeding species contained in one spot in the world. Birding in Tanzania is truly an experience of a lifetime. Trying to find the elusive Narina Trogon in Arusha National Park is a real challenge but worth the try, while finding Fischer’s Lovebirds isn’t quite so difficult in the Serengeti but rewarding nonetheless.
